Three plus years went by quickly. I am heart broken for Janet's family. I know they will hold her again. May God continue to watch over her little boy and all that love her. I pray that the person responsible is brought to justice very soon. I pray that the person responsible doesn't hurt any one else. Sincerely.

Janet was a very good friend of mine and I truly miss her not a single day goes by that she don't cross my mind I have a picture of that was taken at another friends baby shower at work and i am so thankful to have that. Its on my desk for everyone that she worked with can see it
as well. Now that it has been 3yrs I can still feel the lost of a wonderful friend and a mother that loved her son.

After three years of her passing I still have noticed her case is being worked on, no one has forgotten her. No one has forgotten the way she lived or the tragic way she died. And on the third aniversary already, some might be more sad remembering. But what we need to think about is this: We shant remember the day that she died... but shall remember the days that she lived.

I know that it's coming up on the third anniversary of Janet's passing and that no matter how much time passes, missing her and loving her will not lessen. I lost my sister last year in May to breast cancer and I know that I carry her with me everyday everywhere I go. Please just know that someone is thinking of your family at this time and praying that the person who put out Janet's sweet light will be found and punished for this. Take care.

Dear Janet's family,
I wrote a letter a long time ago to your family, but I never was able to send it. I was in the same ward as Janet in Durham. My family members also knew her in Charlotte. I still remember her beautiful smile at church and have a few very specific memories at enrichment night and other times at church. I also remember the exact time and place that I heard she had passed on. I think about what happened often. The only thing that comforts me is that if the person who did this doesn't come foward in this life, the justice will be so much more in the next. They will not only have to anwser for taking a life, but all the pain that they have caused for her family and friends. I am so sorry for all that your family has gone through. I hope for peace for your family.

I would first like to add that I am terribly sorry for your lost. I can honestly say I know how it feels! My brother was murdered last June 3, 2006 at the Circus Family Restaraunt in Raleigh NC. His website is www.leroyjernigan.com. I would like to send my deepest sympathy to your family, it's truly hard "not" knowing what happened or who or why someone can do such a heinous crime! It has been hard for me since she has died and I know its been bad
for her family and friends God Bless them all, and Please let there be justice this has gone on long enough.
