I am a friend of a friend of Janet's sister Val...I can only say after looking at the site, that it brought me to tears, and I pray that the family will be able sometime soon to find some kind of closure, if one can ever do so, and the monster who took the life of such a beautiful young woman, and her unborn child, can be caught and prosecuted to the full extent of the law. My prayers are with all family and friends who were close to Janet...even though I didn't know her, I feel I do after looking through Janet's site.
Thank you for making this most beautiful website in tribute to such a beautiful young woman. I will light a candle on the appointed day, and will keep the family and beautiful son in my thoughts and prayers. God bless all.

I'm very sorry for the loss of the family. I went to church, in VA, and was in some of her classes there. She was charming and good humored, and from a very warm family. I didn't realize this tragedy had occurred until very recently. I wanted to send my best, and say that even though I knew Janet some time ago, and not being her close friend, I feel the loss. I'll always remember her with wet hair, and half open eye lids. Meaning I can verify that she was, in fact, always there for that dreaded early morning seminary class (at least the times I was there).

I don't know Janet personally, but I know her brother Brad and his wife Connie. This is such a tragedy, and I just want the family to know that they are in our prayers. We also hope that the perpetrator of this crime is eventually found and convicted.

Janet was a wonderful mother, friend and family member to all that knew her. She had a love and sweetness about her. For the longest time i have wondered why "I" needed to get to know her so well. And why i needed to be her friend. Why i needed to get to know and love baby Kaiden so much.
I hope that one day all my questions will be answered when i see her again.

Much love to Janet, her family and everyone who has suffered in the loss of this wonderful person!

I met Janet at a ward (D-2)activity where she had brought her non-member neighbor. The family was new to our ward.Although I never really got to know her for very long the impact of her death was a shock to our community. We live across the street from where she and her husband had worked. It is my earnest prayer that her family realizes that family's are forever and we share in the loss of their daughter.Tinamarie Condie

I met Janet when she started working at Martin Marietta. She was quiet but ask her about Kaiden and her face would light up and you knew how much she loved that baby. She was always asking if you needed any help, it didn't matter what. She was a generous person and I remember being told Janet was gone, I could not beleive someone could take such a beautiful life. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and Kaiden, it is beyond words that he will never have the chance to truly know the person his mom was.

Janet how much I miss the joy and love you always brought into my home, how much sadness fills our home now that you are gone are beyond words. The tears for Janet that ran down my daughters and wife faces were hard to deal with for it had not to be this way.

We honor the choices you made in your life and cherish the memories you have left us with. This site is only a glimmer of our thoughts and a whisper of our memories, and the sadness of our hearts for not knowing the person you would have become here on this earth and having robbed of being a mother again.

So many times as we gather as a family I look for that brilliant smile that once lit up a room to find it not there but having solace in the memory of that smile which we will once see again as we are joined again as a family with our father in heaven. Our thoughts our love is with all who cherish in Janetís memories and in a life that was shortened in haste, may you chose to live for love and justice and burn a little brighter for Janet.

What a wonderful Memorial Site. I hope that the Vigil will bring more attention to Janet's case and my prayers go out to the family.
